In late 2008, company founder Fred Delibero set a goal to achieve the National Association of Home Builders “Model Green Home Certification” standard on every new home we build by January 2010. Company founder, Fred Delibero, earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a Master in Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, before moving to Lee’s Summit. Before founding Summit Custom Homes in 2002, Delibero was a Senior Manager at Copaken, White & Blitt, a third generation commercial real estate development and management company based in Kansas City. He has been active in residential and commercial real estate development and construction since 1996. Fred is a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Kansas City Home Builders Association and holds the NAHB “Certified Green Professional” designation. He, his wife Lisa and their two children Griffin and Riley are proud to call Lee’s Summit home.
