Fred Delibero
President & Chief Executive Officer

Fred founded Summit Custom Homes in 2002 and led the company through 11 years of continued growth including expansion through one of the most difficult real estate markets in modern history. He is focused on strategic planning, finance, development, plan design, customer relations and the continued growth of the company with an emphasis on delivering quality built homes in outstanding communities at an exceptional value. He has also founded and operates several other real estate investment companies.
Fred earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Fort Lauderdale College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to starting Summit Custom Homes, he was involved in senior management roles in leasing and development of commercial retail real estate and shopping malls for one of the largest privately held commercial real estate developers in the Midwest. He is the 2013 President of the Home Builder’s Association of Kansas City and has served on their board since 2007. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Builders. Fred holds the Certified Green Professional designation from NAHB. He has been featured in many publications, has received numerous awards for homebuilding design and quality, and often teaches on the subject of green building science.
Fred serves as a commissioner on the City of Lee’s Summit Planning Commission, and has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the past three years to build the Kansas City St. Jude Dream Home raising nearly $3,000,000 for the organization. Fred resides in Lee’s Summit with his wife and two children and enjoys family time, community service, traveling, history, and architecture.
Zalman Kohen

Zalman joined the company in 2009. He runs the day-to-day operations with broad based oversight of accounting, administration, construction management, purchasing, homeowner care, warranty management, finance, permitting and more. He has been involved in the Home-Building industry for more than a decade in various executive management positions. Zalman holds dual-major Bachelor degrees in Management and in Business Administration from Ottawa University, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University. He is an active member of the local Home Builder Association of Greater Kansas City where he serves as a Board Member and Chairman of the Missouri South Council and Parade committees. Additionally, Zalman earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Home Builders. He resides in Overland Park with his wife and three children. He enjoys sports, spending time with the family and actively participates in the local community. Zalman and his family live in a Summit Custom Homes built home.
Kevin Stucker
Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Kevin meets with prospective homeowners in helping them select the perfect home and community that best suits their needs. In addition, he manages the marketing department. He has been active in the residential construction industry for 17 years with a focus on both single-family and multi-family building. Kevin earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Truman State University. He served as the 2012 President of the Home Builder's Association of Greater Kansas City and currently serves on its board. Kevin earned the Certified Green Professional and Certified Aging in Place Specialist designations from the National Association of Home Builders. He resides in Raymore with his wife and step-daughter. He is active on several community boards and enjoys spending time with family, travel, and the outdoors.
Greg Cox

Greg joined Summit Custom Homes in 2006 and today he manages and trains nine team members in the construction management department. Before joining the Summit Custom Homes team, he worked both in new home building and remodeling. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, with a Business Minor, from Brigham Young University – Idaho. He earned the Certified Green Professional Designation in May 2009 from the National Association of Home Builders, and serves on the codes task force committee of the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City where he has been influential in the formation and adoption of building codes in municipalities throughout the metro. He was also the architect of Summit’s Build Green Advantage program leading the company to be recognized as a leader in green building science both in Kansas City and nationally. Greg resides in Lee’s Summit with his wife and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, basketball, knife making, singing and playing the guitar. He is active in the community and with his church where he teaches and is a youth program leader. Greg and his family live in a Summit Custom Homes built home.
David Price
Vice President of Development & Strategic Planning

David oversees all of Summit Custom Homes land investment and development projects; home owners associations; and also serves as a leader in setting strategy and direction for the company. Before joining Summit, he served in executive leadership positions for nearly 30 years with some of the country’s largest homebuilders including US Homes, Ryland Homes and the Fortress Group in all functional areas. In addition, he served on the Industry Council for the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis from 2006 through 2011, and was a member of the board of directors for the St. Louis Home Builders Association. David earned a Bachelor of Business degree from Central Missouri State University. He enjoys spending time with his family and resides in Kansas City with his son.
Sara Carvalho

Sara manages the accounting team and is responsible for all facets including financial reporting and analysis, compliance, insurance, budgeting, lender relations and human resource management. Before joining Summit, Sara held various senior level accounting positions at several of Kansas City’s leading companies. Sara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from Avila University. In addition to her work at Summit, Sara also serves as an adjunct professor teaching accounting and business courses at Avila University. She serves on the board for Newhouse, a domestic violence shelter for abused and battered women, and is very active with community organizations. She also serves on the Finance Committee for The Women’s Foundation of Greater Kansas City. Sara resides in Pleasant Hill with her husband and she enjoys spending time with her family, running, gardening, and travel.
Jake Loveless
Director of Purchasing & Permitting

Jake manages the purchasing and permitting department where all estimating, pricing, budgeting, permitting and ARC submittals takes place. Before joining the Summit team, Jake held management positions with a leading industry supplier. He is a graduate of Washburn University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management; and a Master of Business Administration degree. Jake played college baseball, starting for 4 years as a pitcher. Jake has earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Homes Builders. He resides in Lee’s Summit with his wife and children and enjoys movies, sports, working out, and relaxing with his family and friends. Jake and his family live in a Summit Custom Homes built home.
Jodi Hermstedt

Jodi meets with prospective homeowners helping them to select the ideal home and community for their family, and works with our field-based real estate agents. Prior to joining Summit Custom Homes, she held senior level sales and marketing roles with a large regional home builder and in several local new home communities. Jodi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Manitoba, Canada. She is a licensed Realtor in Missouri and Kansas and holds a Green Building designation from the National Association of Realtors, as well as the Certified Sales Professional designation from the National Association of Home Builders. Jodi resides in Olathe with her fiancé and children and enjoys family time, reading, gardening, exercise, cooking and participating in her church.
Kyle Jones

Kyle works together with our trade partners to insure the construction of more than 200 homes a year stays on schedule. He is a third generation home builder and worked in the home building industry for 13 years. Kyle earned his Master’s degree in finance from Rockhurst University and is a graduate of Washburn University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree. He is actively involved in the community and has served on the board of directors of the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Kansas City and the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce. Kyle earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Homes Builders. He resides in Blue Springs with his wife and children and enjoys golfing, hunting, NFL football and time spent with his family.
Megan Fratzke

Megan manages the company’s branding strategy, media placement and design, events, inventory listing and management, press, publicity, media relations, social media, Parade of Homes participation, web site administration, electronic communications and marketing, community marketing and collateral development and coordinates the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway marketing program. Prior to joining the team, Megan worked at the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines and the HBA of Greater Kansas City. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication and Creative Advertising from Drake University. Megan lives in Lee’s Summit and enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, cooking and traveling.
Lyndsay James
Warranty Manager

Lyndsay manages the warranty department and works diligently to insure our homeowners are satisfied after the closing. Before joining the Summit team, she was involved in homeowner care for another home builder and served in various customer service roles. Lyndsay takes great pride in working for Summit Custom Homes and in making sure that homeowners are enjoying their new homes. She resides in Pleasant Hill with her husband and daughter and enjoys family time, country music, Jeep mods and off-roading.
Andrea Fogarty

Andrea works with homeowners after the sale to make sure that their after closing experience is as rewarding as their building experience. She is dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer service experience. Before joining the Summit team, Angela worked as a para-legal for some of the top law firms in Kansas City. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Baker University and an Associate's degree in Paralegal studies from Brown Mackie College. Andrea’s hobbies include golfing, watching sports, movies, dancing, and spending time with friends and family.
Amber Booker
Accounting Specialist

Amber processes invoices, generates payments, and handles other accounting related tasks. She has more than ten years of architecture, engineering and construction accounting experience. Amber is also attending the University of Phoenix where she is working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. She resides in Blue Springs with her husband and child and she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading.
Darrell Naeger
Designer

Darrell began his relationship with Summit Custom Homes as the interior designer for one of the St Jude Dream Home projects and joined the company full time shortly thereafter as a designer. He makes selections for all of our inventory homes, contributes to plan design, and decorates all of the model homes. Darrell has been in the interior design field for 10 years managing residential interior design projects for National retailers, as well as, operating his own private design business. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion Illustration and Merchandising, Darrell worked in the Retail industry in management, marketing, merchandising and buying before finding his ultimate passion in interior design. He avidly searches for new trends and loves the process of adding color, texture, fabric and unique items to transform a house into a home. In his free time he enjoys cooking, singing, and relaxing with his partner and two dogs.
Tom Davis

Tom works with the buyers from the time the contract is signed through the closing of their home to insure their building experience is just as they imagined. Prior to joining the Summit team, he held management positions in the blueprinting industry and worked with the Wichita Wranglers and San Antonio Missions baseball teams. Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Industrial Management from Newman University. Tom resides in Lee’s Summit with his wife and three boys and is an active member of his church and a former Grand Knight of Council #8334. Tom enjoys coaching and playing softball, golf, fishing, camping, hunting and family time.
Eddie Navia

Prior to joining the Summit team, Eddie was involved in both residential and commercial construction. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Missouri State University. While attending Missouri State University he was an active member in Kappa Alpha Order, as well as, the school’s Construction Club. He resides in Kansas City and his hobbies include a passion for sports and spending time with family and friends.
Brandon Wilson
Permitting/ Purchasing Specialist

Brandon takes charge of permitting more than 200 homes a year in more than a dozen municipalities and also prepares and submits all submittals to the various architectural review committees. He is a graduate of Missouri State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. While attending Missouri State University, he was an active member in the Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity, as well as, the school’s Construction Club. Brandon resides in Kansas City and enjoys hunting, fishing, sports, and time spent with family and friends.
Chastity Tillotson
Purchasing Specialist

Chastity approves, reviews, and approves invoices, manages purchase orders, prepares budgets, tracks production, and audits closings. Prior to joining the Summit team, she was involved in management and administration with a large regional home builder for many years. She is currently finishing her Bachelors degree at the University of Phoenix. She lives in Kingsville with her husband and children.
Jennifer Kreisel

Jennifer answers the phones and greets visitors at our corporate office, as well as, receives mail, processes invoices and manages the filing of documents among other things. She has over 20 years of customer service experience with 16 years in the administrative field. Jennifer's enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Doug Jenson
Construction Manager

Doug schedules and manages the building of homes for our customers in several communities. Prior to joining the Summit team, he was involved in various management roles and ownership in both the residential and commercial construction arenas in Idaho, Utah, Missouri and Kansas. Besides building single family homes, he has led the construction of monolithic dome structures including multiplex schools and multi-million dollar super structures throughout the US and Canada. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University – Idaho where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. Doug prides himself on quality craftsmanship and lives by the slogan “There’s only one way to do a job, and that’s the right way”. Doug earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Homes Builders. He resides in Raymore with his wife and children and enjoys family time and service to his church. Doug and his family live in a Summit Custom Homes built home.
Sean Neal

Sean earned his degree in Construction Management from the University of Central Missouri. He is now a Construction Manager for Summit Custom Homes, with experience in both Commercial and Residential Construction. His prior experience as a Quality Control Manager for multi-million dollar commercial renovation projects has provided him with a keen eye for detail which helps ensure a quality finished product is always delivered to our customers. Sean takes great pride in building homes for people in the Lee's Summit area where he grew up and now lives with his own family.

He has worked in the home building industry for over 6 years and was previously employed by a leading multi-family home builder and developer. Brent is a graduate of Kansas State University, and Comair Aviation Academy where he completed the professional pilot course earning his commercial pilot’s license. He has earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Homes Builders. Brent resides in Lee’s Summit with his wife and two daughters and enjoys coaching youth sports, golfing, fishing and time spent with family and friends.

He has been a licensed contractor in Johnson County since 1993. Craig resides in Olathe with his wife and children and enjoys golfing and watching sports.
Scott Brazer

Scott schedules and manages the building of homes for our customers in several communities. He is a third generation builder with eight years in the residential construction field. Prior to joining Summit Custom Homes, Scott’s building projects consisted of high end residential construction in exclusive communities in Savannah, Georgia and Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Scott has meticulous attention to detail and utilizes a proactive approach throughout the building process. He has earned the Certified Green Professional designation from the National Association of Homes Builders. Scott lives in Leawood with his wife and they are expecting their first child soon. His hobbies include golfing, music, and watching professional sports.
Ben Hendershot

Ben schedules and manages the building of homes for our customers in several communities. Prior to joining the Summit team, Ben served in various roles in the construction industry. He is also served his country as a US Marine. He is a graduate of Pittsburg State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, and was the president of the student chapter of the NAHB. Ben worked with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) during school completing an internship at its national headquarters in Washington D.C. He also earned the Certified Green Professional and Residential Construction Superintendent designations from the NAHB. He is married with children and is active in his church. He enjoys hunting and spending time with family.
