We actually just happened to come across a great lot and found out that Fred had recently purchased it. We met with Fred, looked over a number of floor plans and fell in love with the Bristol Ridge. It helped that we could go and look though the St. Jude Home which was in the same neighborhood and really see what the home looked like instead of just trying to visualize it on paper. Fred went over many features of their company and the building process, all of which we were very impressed with.
We've owned two homes previously, and hadn't seriously entertained building until meeting with Fred. We really liked the idea of getting to build our "Dream Home", though. And when the opportunity presented itself, we took it. We think we might have surprised Fred a bit by how aggressive we were after meeting with him. We didn't want to lose the lot, or the chance to build a great home; we were ready to get started that day.

Most resale homes did not have the floor plan we were looking for or were in need of expensive repair and/or remodeling costs. We both really enjoy watching a new home being built. We like to pick and choose our own design and features because it makes our house exactily what we want, and that is fun for us.
As we began looking for a builder, we kept coming back to Summit Custom Homes as a serious choice. His Standard Features in Every Home and The Green Build Advantage fliers gave us something in print to refer to that the other builders just didn't do! We were also impressed with the fact that he has consisitently earned awards in every Parade of Homes Tour which recognised the quality of his work and design. We talked with several people who own a Summit Home and they all were pleased. We decided to meet with Fred Delibero in person of Summit Custom Homes. When we talked with Fred he made us feel comfortable and he was very conscientious of his home building. We decided he was the builder for us.
