Summit Homes donates $718,000 to St. Jude

Yesterday our Summit team was thrilled to present St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with a $718,000 donation following the sale of the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace!

Since we broke ground on our 6th St. Jude Dream Home, we joined forces with our incredible network of trade partners as well as local and national sponsors to have all materials and labor donated so the home was built at zero cost and all proceeds from its sale could go directly to St. Jude. Throughout construction, our friends on the Rob Ellerman Team with ReeceNichols organized poker and golf tournaments to raise even more funds to support St. Jude, bringing the total donation amount from the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace to $718,000!

We gathered at the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace once more yesterday to celebrate the sale of the home and bring together the whole team that brought this project to life.

Take a look back at the construction process and see the interior of the Dream Home Showplace when it was fully staged in the video recap below:

We were joined by Crowley Furniture, who drew the winner of the drawing for $10,000 furniture shopping spree open to all who toured the Dream Home Showplace.

Since our partnership began in 2011, Summit Homes has raised nearly $6 million to support the hospital’s mission of finding cures and saving children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses. we’re dedicated to building and supporting strong communities in Kansas City and throughout the United States.

The St. Jude Dream Home Showplace is part of our Commitment to Community
